Hey Everyone as you may or may not have heard we have a date for the next Storm!!!!

There may or may not be tourneys. and I will be emailing out an email (funnily enough!) to see who is going to play. If the Tourneys go ahead there will be 2-3 tourneys with an overall champion for the night. I NEED PROMPT REPLIES TO THE EMAILS and competition entry will be $5.00. I need to know how many of you are going to play so I can budget for prizes. If you have any questions let me know!

Hey Stormers, just updating you on the fact that I haven't added much to the website lately!! The reason for this is I am currently construsting a new site, complete overhaul in fact because I will be leaving Telstras grubby little mitts soon and going to Westnet. This will get rid of all those annoying pop-ups which should make a few of you happier! LOL Also I will be able to update easier because I'm using Dreamweaver now so I can add info and updates a lot more efficiently and can add or take away pages with ease. I will still be updating this page up until that happens (at this stage around 4 weeks away) so keep coming back here for more info and event dates until then!!

Hey Everyone, another STORM has come and gone with a huge increase in numbers, at one stage there was something like 35-40 LANners there. We even had to utilise the second room!! A new game was introduced last Storm by the name of FreeLancer. This is a Space Trading/Combat game from Microsoft and I thouroughly recommend it to everybody. There is a 24/7 Server here in Kalgoorlie (compliments of Senectus) called ModMeUp Universe. This is more than likely the server we will be using at the next few LANs so logon and get playing. You have to wait a few moments for the server to appear on the list of Internet servers but it's well worth the wait as even 56K modems are getting good pings. This is the server we will be using at the next Storm so if you want to get a head start with your ship check it out!! Also in the next few days there will be another update to the site as I will be adding some photos of the night which were taken. A new Newsletter will be sent out in a few days and I will try (I will!!) to get these out fortnightly so the timing is after the LANs. Anyone got any comments about the night, food, Case Mods, Ideas please send them in. All of these will give me more to update the site with.
You'll also notice that I have changed the names of a couple of the pages, this was to increase the coverage of games we play and not just to concentrate on 1942. I'm sure there will be things you the Gamers will want featured, so let me know!! Need hints, tips or just plain curious about something, ask away at the FORUM and one of our members is sure to have an answer for you.

Next week I'll be adding a new page for Misc Games (Warcraft,TA etc.) and we'll see how it goes, we might have a seperate page for the games with the most interest, so keep an eye out for that one. In the meantime if you have any games you'd like featured let me know!

Mega News!!!! New LANSTORM Location!!
Hey Everyone the news has been confirmed about the new LANSTORM meeting place see below for details or go to the Recent Events Page!
LanStorm is moving!
We have sourced a great new venue , with the help of Marcus aka Senectus. The address is 293- 297 Hay St.
Features- bigger, better aircon, lock up parking, kitchen facilities, CHEAPER, and better layout.
Lan will cost only 10 bux now- yes thats right 10 bux!! value value value :)
I must stress tho, this venue is owned by Placer Dome and we must show respect to the venue (keep clean, no damage or theft). Marcus has put his butt on the line and if anything goes south then he will cop the fallout and we will lose this great venue. And then the rest of us will proceed to introduce our boots to your arse!
Anyway, hope to see you all at the new venue and hear your feedback.
